   I know the Witcher Enhanced Edition will be released sometime around September, but I’ve always wondered about something for pre-existing owners. I’ve heard that if you already own the game then you will only need to download the patch to make it the Enhanced Edition, so what would be the incentive of actually buying the hard copy of the Enhanced Edition if you can buy the original at a reduced price and just patch it?

   I just started playing the original and god damn are the load times and save times unbearable. I mean the fact that it auto saves every single time one of my quest is updated or a new quest is added is horrible. Especially since I cant find a option to turn auto save off. The load times in general from room to room are already bad but when you add a auto save on top of the load time when changing a room its real annoying. I love the actual game so far, but almost not worth it with the loading.

   Yeah the enhanced patch will be available as downloadable content for those with the original game.

   The most of the enhanced stuff will be released as a patch for the normal version, too. Look at the last patch 1.3, the editor is already in it!

   I hope they release this enhanced version for free for those who already paid for the original. I already beat the game and would like to play an expansion with new quests and content. But I appreciate the effort into perfecting this game even after its initial release. Way to go CDProjekt.

    Wow, I just played the demo of Witcher for the first time, now I am not an RPG person at all but I ended up playing the demo for 3 hours straight which is amazing for me, LOVED IT.

    I was very sad to hear the enhanced version will be delayed till September as thats the only full version I want to play, seems like so long to wait =(

    I’m kinda pissed with two things – I wanted the game to be perfect (ok, after three patches) when I bought it (yeah, downloading is fine until CDProjekt is there – nothing is forever).
    Second – system reqs sucks hard. Gotta play on lowest settings with 800×600 or it’s a slide show. I think they could’ve optimised it better.
    Anyway, great game.

    yes. in „Price of Neutrality” you’ve got 2 new sex cards: Sabrina Glevissig and Deidre. (I’m not sure, i haven’t play yet)

    You also have to REGISTER the game to be able to download this extra stuff for free… If You have pirate version – bad luck for You no goodies
